BP RECOVERS HALF OF THE OIL LEAKING FROM THE OCEAN FLOOR
I had the opportunity to 'Like" the north American Continent, and so I did. I'm afraid to favorite it, since most any favorite of mine comes in second or third or worse. We're in trouble now. Big Oil has been busy greasing up the shorelines, to what end, I don't know. Evil no doubt.

BERT SEZ : more taxes on petroleum based fuels. Carbon tax followed with a pollution tax heaped upon an emissions tax followed with a use tax and a mileage tax and more excise taxes on tires and rubber. WE MIGHT raise enough to fund a cleanup and provide universal health care too. Or at least those debilitated by their environment. We should legalize marijuana too and tax it at twenty dollars per ounce, Federal. The states can tack whatever they can justify for regulation and distribution oversight and tax collection costs.
